SocialTechBook is a project developed by DeustoTech Learning research unit at Deusto Foundation. The aim of the project is to analyze “the book and reading of the future”, to explore the possibilities of books, both paper and electronic, to enrich them with innovative content (interactive multimedia, audiovisual resources, augmented reality) and interaction (remote laboratories), integrate reading in social media and establish new communication channels with authors and experts. Accessibility for people with disabilities will be considered from the beginning of the project.
The project is supported by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia for the years 2011 and 2012 and is being developed with the collaboration of Tecnalia.
